Nashville Chapter Co Director, Shay Ashcraft, has agreed to come on board as the new Social Media Director. Upon assuming this role, Shay will spend the next few weeks working on a business plan for a social media strategy for the Little Black Dress Club. She has already gotten started on creating both Pinterest and Twitter pages for the Nashville and Birmingham Chapters and a Pinterest page for our Tracy Chapter.
Shay has also moved the needle considerably with the national Twitter account, and in just a few short days, we received several retweets and follows from Project Runway hosts, makeup artists, former runners-up and followers! This makes for a great start in our quest to target the show with hopes of getting them to feature the little black dress and our organization in an episode!
Shay has been instrumental in setting up the LBDC official blog and has worked hard recruiting regular blog hosts and other talented, inspiring women that have a lot to contribute to the blog as well as to LBDC.
We look forward to having Shay on board and allowing her to see how far into the social media world LBDC can go. Our goal is always to bring awareness to our organization as well as new members while also making sure our current members are always "in the know" regarding club news.
