LBDC Welcomes Tina McHugh!

The Little Black Dress Club has recently launched a chapter in Pittsburgh, PA. Tina McHugh, along with her friend Marcie Sinagra have joined forces to make Pittsburgh the latest and greatest when it comes to socializing for women.

Tina went to high school with LBDC Co-founder Jenny Holzer. A few years later, Tina was shocked when she came across Little Black Dress Club on Facebook and recognized Jenny!

Tina had been looking for a women’s social club in the Pittsburgh area for a while. “In looking in our area, I discovered that there weren’t any such clubs. I recalled LBDC and thought we really need a social club for women, one that would allow women to get out and make friends, have fun and do creative activities which happened to be what I was looking for myself, so it was a great opportunity to bring LBDC to our community,” she says.

The Pittsburgh chapter is currently busy planning a Halloween themed cocktail hour, a Floral Design Class, Spa Day, Fashion Shows, a Favorite Things Event and Movie Nights! The first cocktail hour will be October 24 followed by a Floral Design class on November 18.

Tina says, “I love that in 30 minutes you could find yourself in the heart of the city going one direction and taking another direction you are in the beauty of the mountains.” Tina’s philosophy  on life is that you should always live a life that is full of laughter, kindness, grace and honesty. She often refers to a quote by Walt Disney, “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”

When it comes to friendship among women, Tina feels that a good friendship is a sisterhood, is trusting, is open, honest and will last a lifetime.

In her spare time, Tina enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, going to the gym, hanging out with her extended family and friends, shopping, traveling and sitting down with a really good book. Adding to that list, Tina is really looking forward to LBDC in Pittsburgh, meeting great women in the area and meeting other LBDC members and Directors from other chapters.
